Educational tours and activities for schools

Love of nature and animals is something you learn from an early age.

That is why our Farm is happy to organise educational tours and recreational activities for schools and families. Thanks to the Farm's various activities, children can immerse themselves in the genuineness of country life. A joyful and constructive experience to discover the wonders of the rural world and get in touch with its elements. The workshops are designed for pre-school and primary schools.

Educational activities are carried out with various types of thematic workshops.
The farm tour will continue according to certain themes previously chosen with the teacher:

🌿 Direct contact with nature through nature trails (hedges, wooded patches, wetlands, rivers and canals).
🌿 Technical-agronomic routes (soil tillage, intercropping, cultivation techniques).
🌿 Observations on biodiversity.

🌿 The life of bees and their products.
🌿 The transformation of products (from seed to bread).
🌿 Recognising different types of fruit.
🌿 Practical demonstrations with the active involvement of the children with the use of the farmer's tools, shelling cobs and grinding grain with a small stone mill, bread dough
🌿 Sensory trail of aromatic herbs and recognition of their scents.
🌿 Enhancement of the five senses. Discovering the scents, sensations and taste of aromatic herbs.
🌿 Differences between aromatic and medicinal herbs.
🌿 Trail for young guests: a barefoot trail walking on grass, rounded pebbles, selected bark and earth.
🌿 Sustainability and tradition: our educational farm embraces the principles of sustainability, using ecological farming practices and promoting a healthy and conscious diet. We are committed to safeguarding the agricultural traditions of the Veneto region, educating new generations on the importance of an authentic connection with the land.

Immerse yourself in the enchantment of the countryside, a place where colours intertwine in an embrace of beauty and fragrances tell stories of traditions and nature.
Shapes, scents, colours and touch characteristics contribute to the development of multi-sensory awareness and an intimate communion with the natural environment. Plants and wild herbs are accompanied by the fruits of agriculture. Children learn which plants correspond to the vegetables and fruit they normally consume and the added value of organic seasonal cultivation.

Discovering animals on the educational farm is an enriching experience for children and adults, providing a unique opportunity for direct learning and interaction with nature. Participants can explore different aspects of the animals, such as their habits, behaviour and role in the ecosystem.
Direct Observation: guided and accompanied visitors can get close to our animals. Direct observation allows them to see how they interact with each other and their environment.
Feeding: it’s often possible to participate in the grazing or feeding of the animals, learning what their diets are and how to care for them.
Ecological Learning: our educational farm offers information on the importance of biodiversity and animal welfare, as well as on sustainable agriculture.
Sensory Activities: tactile (touching the animals' fur) and olfactory (various farm smells) experiences enrich the learning experience.
